Sexual tension was a very definite requirement of the brief just so you know :) |

Picture of Ponies
My Mother-in-Law is going to be running classes for quadrille which is some sort of complicated horse ballet involving multiple paired horses and riders. Think the white helmets motorcycle display team but on great big lary animals. So she wanted some sort of characterful horse related logo for her facebook page and stationary...

BEE GOOD!
Oh Dear Christ on a velocipede!!
A blog post!
Its my yearly foray into the blogosphere (if thats what the kids are still calling it) to post something. This time its something I'm doing, or have done, and is about to become available.
Beehive Bedlam, a precursor to many of the bubble popping, gem matching time sinks that the entire world seems to have gone nuts for, is back. The Sky interactive game is now 10 years old but still getting 110,000 unique monthly players so Sky decided to move into the mobile market and we, Waterfront Entertainment having a long history creating games for Sky got the gig.
Match flowers get points, collect honey and sell honey for coins to spend on boosts and upgrades. Its a non aggressive, ethical free-to-play title with no arbitrary limits on play.
Were pretty pleased with it and it will be out shortly on iPhone, iPad and shortly after Android Devices.
Heres a picture of Buzz the Star of the Game...
Games starring bee's seems to be something of a habit with me...

They Fight Crime!!
At the risk of every post on this blog being about my lack of time here is another thing I started and haven't got round to finishing... May I present "Charnel Angels"
Admittedly this time the illustration is done but in this case its the first character sketches of what I intended becoming a web comic or a hugely successful franchise of graphic novels and toys.
If you'd like to pay me to do that then please feel free to offer me piles of cash
And Look, you can even buy t-shirts already

"Once upon a time there were three beautiful girls who went to the police academy, they were each assigned very hazardous duties. But I took them away from all that and now they work for me. My name is Death."
Basically its a re-imagining of charlies angels but with a sexy undead goth twist because like the ninja theory (which states that anything can be improved by the addition of ninjas) so can anything be improved by the addition of sexy undead goth girls... even ninjas.

Sketch Dump
A while ago I joined Conceptart.org with the intention of honing my skills and excercising my concept muscles even when my actual job didnt call for it. Sadly I discovered that my free time was barely adequate for eating and sleeping let alone elaborate digital paintings. As a result I have generated a number of reasonably polished pencil sketches so instead of then gathering dust on my hard-drive I present them here for your delight
CuChulainn: The young Setanta Kills Culanns Guard Dog in self Defence earning him his better known name.
The Surveyor: An unknown Humanoid Entity appearing at random at distant points around the globe with near omnipresence seemingly to conduct interviews with the inhabitants of the earth... but for what purpose?
Sgt Dan and the Twins of Terror: Pulp Hero Sgt Dan Faces the Axis of Evils Newest Generals, the Twisted Baron Von Gunda and his Mindless Clone Guntram
War Criminal: Leading a pointless civil war in an underdeveloped country, this ruthless man, commanding a guerilla army, rips off poor civilians and wages war against any opponent. He lives a rich life, constantly sapping away the country's resources, making the poor people around live a very difficult life.
The Veteran: He has seen a thousand wars... Known as “the Veteran”, some say Battle was his father, War his mother… Scarred by battle, the Veteran is a legend on the battlefield!
Aladdin: The Middle-Eastern folktale tells about the young and poor Aladdin who is hired by a sorcerer to retrieve a magic oil lamp. Aladdin finds out the lamp contains a powerful djinni, who helps him to become rich and wealthy. Aladdin then marries the beautiful princess Badroulbadour. Here he is on the Rob!

Evil Gazelle
One of the hardest things to believe is the abysmal depths of Human stupidity
... a quote from Aleister Crowley although I believe it is actually attributed originally to Robert Heinlein. I may be entirely wrong... and to be honest it's not really stupidity thats the subject here... more a lack of conscientiousness. Anyway this little strip came about after myself and a colleague were discussing the difficulty we often had having people follow processes laid down to make their lives easier and complex pipelines easily navigable...
I call this the Hamster Metaphor... incidentally the when she said this I almost fired coffee out my nose... perhaps you had to be there but it made me laugh.
